The governors and staff of Sherbrook Primary School are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor who will maintain the fabric of our school, both inside and out, to a continuing high standard.

 

  • are you handy with a saw and a screwdriver?
  • can you fit a door handle/lock?
  • can you build a base unit?
  • fit and install a work surface or shelving?
  • paint a wall?
  • unblock a drain/toilet?
  • carry out basic plumbing?
  • do you mind an early start to your day?
  • are you prepared to open and lock up the school and take rubbish to the bins?
  • can you maintain the school grounds?
  • can you spread salt on frosty days, or use our snowplough when necessary?
  • can you be available in some school holidays to facilitate contractor access?

If you can answer yes to the above and feel pride in the work you do, then we could be what you have been looking for.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes personal pride in the job they do and seeks to make a difference by ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. We are happy to hear from anyone who feels they may be able to support the school’s requirements. The position may also suit someone who is no longer in full time employment but still seeks an active role.
