1. To timetable provision for students.

2. To teach students as required.

3. To monitor budgets and play an active role in effective budget management within CTLC (Cherry Tree Learning Centre).

4. To monitor and evaluate academic progress of students being taught by CTLC in line with policies.

5. To monitor teaching and learning of students in CTLC.

6. To line manage staff in CTLC. 7. To performance manage staff as required.

8. To play an active role in the leadership Team of CTLC.

9. To work with other staff to plan for students’ progress within CTLC.

10. To develop and implement intervention strategies to address students curriculum needs, increase student’s academic opportunities and promote academic and social/emotional progress within CTLC.

11. To report to Head Teacher with regards to students progress.

12. To act as duty manager and deputise for head teacher in day to day management of staff and students within CTLC as required.

13. To work with Local Governing Board Members to ensure effective governance of CTLC.

14. To lead on curriculum development at KS4

15. To lead the Outreach Team and offer schools across the borough consultancy advice on meeting the needs of pupils with a medical conditions

16. To undertake duties that may be assigned by the Head teacher.

17. To operate within the protocols and policies of The Skylark Partnership.

18. To work as part of the CTLC leadership Team to lead on the developing and implementing strategic development plans.

19. To maintain knowledge of current education policy and good practice.

20. To contribute to staff development within CTLC in relation to both post responsibilities (lead) and specific staff performance managed by post holder.

21. To deputise for the head teacher as required.
