The Role

Clinton Primary School is a thriving school, built on strong relationships, on the edge of Kenilworth, with a truly dedicated and welcoming staff.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced TA with a passion for working with children with Autism and a desire to train to be an ABA tutor. If you are already an ABA tutor we would certainly welcome your application. You would be self-employed but we would draw up a contract for the basis of your employment.
Starting from September (or earlier if available), you would work with two delightful children (one in year 4 and one in year 5), on two to three days at the end of the week, including for a short time after school on some days, and sometimes in the home. Timings can be discussed at interview.

Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) is an approach which seeks to thoroughly understand children’s behaviours and needs in order to create programmes to support their development in a tailor-made way, so that they can access the curriculum and build relationships at school.

The role would be ideal for someone who wanted to grow and develop their range of skills as well as enhancing their understanding of child development. You would work as part of a team, with regular input from a consultant, learning and problem solving to find the best solutions to help the children.
The training would be arranged by the school.

The pay for this role is between £16 and £18 per hour, depending on prior experience of ABA. You would invoice the school for your pay, being self-employed, but we would draw up a contract of employment.

If you are interested in the position, please phone the school for an application form and person specification. We are keen to hear from you if you have further questions.

Safeguarding is of paramount importance to us at Clinton. The successful candidates will be required to obtain an enhanced DBS declaration as part of the standard pre-employment checks.

Key Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person, with a passion to work with children with Autism. The ideal candidate would have a desire to expand their skill set.

Additional Information & How to Apply

The advert on WM Jobs only allows us to specify permanent or fixed-term contract. As stated above, the successful candidate would be self-employed and a suitable contract would be drawn up.

Please telephone 01926 852334 or contact Mrs Jo Roberts on admin2308@welearn365.com for an application form.

Applications will be acknowledged within 2 working days of receipt.
Closing date: Wednesday 29th June at 12noon
Interview date: Will take place later on in the same week.
