Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst & Project Manager within Digital & Customer Services.  

Hours:  37 hours per week

Salary:  Grade 9

Location:  3-5 St James Road, Dudley (COVID Working Arrangements: Hybrid working, primarily working from home).

You will be working in the Business Change Team to drive forward exciting new projects across Dudley Council.

I need you to be able to:

  • Interpret data to analyse problems by evaluating business processes
  • Assess and document existing and to-be processes
  • Capture user stories and functional requirements
  • Ensure that the deliverables meet the requirements specified with regards to functional fit, quality, reliability, availability, performance, and security
  • Develop and manage project plans to ensure delivery to plan, resources and budget
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders to underpin successful release
  • Develop and manage end user acceptance testing

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period.  This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
