Salary: £32,798 - £37,568 per annum
Contract type: 37 Hours per week - Permanent
About the role
An exciting opportunity to join Staffordshire ICT to support the councils workforce of staff, volunteers and subcontracted partners to ensure that they can optimally access ICT services using the best technology to meet their needs and access support should they experience any difficulties.
The post is responsible for management of all directly reporting staff in the End User Compute team, the continuous improvement of ICT Support operations and the associated operating policies and procedures, SLA’s\OLA’s and support and guidance material relevant to the Teams function.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and be involved in new projects as we move to automated device deployments and cloud technologies.
What you’ll bring
You should have substantial supervisory experience in an IT support environment including experience of successfully managing, empowering, and motivating a team of technical staff.
Demonstrable technical expertise in Service Support operations and technical change.
You will have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
Excellent communication skills and experience of dealing with customers, suppliers and other 3rd parties.
