Job Details
Are you brilliant at bringing people together to achieve collective aims? Do you have an interest in improving the criminal justice system for those who access it in Warwickshire and beyond? We are seeking a Policy and Partnership Officer to progress the collaborative working of the Local Criminal Justice Board.
With increased focus on system reform, we know there is more than can be done locally to understand and improve the systems for those experiencing or working within the criminal justice systems – ultimately leading to Warwickshire being a safer place to live and work in. You will need experience of building relationships, working with others to achieve priorities and data analysis, as well as knowledge of the key issues facing the criminal justice system.
The role is funded by local partners – including the Courts, Probation and Warwickshire Police, but hosted in the office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. You will work as part of a team of highly professional and committed staff with an agreed set of priorities to deliver. Your work will dovetail with the priorities set out in the Police and Crime Plan by PCC Philip Seccombe.
We welcome diversity in our organisation and are flexible-working request friendly. If you have the skills to do the role, we would love to hear from you.

Key aspects include:
- holding the chief constable to account for the delivery of the force
- setting and updating a police and crime plan
- setting the force budget and precept
- regularly engaging with the public and communities
- appointing, and where necessary dismissing, the chief constable.
