The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong administrator to support the Business & Intellectual Property Centres (BIPCs), which provide a valued service to the start-up business community through Worcestershire’s Library Service.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our BIPC team, providing the team with business support and administration. The work is interesting and varied and includes clerical and finance duties, responding to customer enquiries, raising orders for goods and services, reporting and monitoring and administration for events.

It is a busy role, so good interpersonal and effective organisational skills are important. We would expect a high level of customer focus, flexibility, initiative and the ability to switch priorities quickly. Being IT literate, you will be used to office related computer applications, particularly in relation to finance systems.

This post offers the right candidate a varied, dynamic environment to work in and provides a unique opportunity to work within a committed and enthusiastic Library Service, with a focus on supporting the business community across Worcestershire.

The post holder will be based in the Hive, Worcester but provide support for the BIPC network within the Library Service across the County. There will be occasional travel to support events/activities across the library network.
