This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

 

 

 

We require an experienced IT Service Desk technician to join our busy ICT Service Desk team.  You will be required to act as the first point of contact for all internal customer incidents and requests, and be involved in logging and resolving all calls that come through the Service Desk.  

 

 

 

You will be expected to provide support for hardware, software and standard IT equipment and applications.  Effective management of the customer relationship during the support call process is essential.

 

 

 

You must have an enthusiastic personality, an ability to learn quickly, a strong attention to detail and a demonstrable technical aptitude; particularly a good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. 

 

 

 

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential as you will have to work with both technical and non-technical users as well as senior members of staff.
