We are recruiting Casual Wet Recreation Assistants (lifeguards) to be based at Dimensions Leisure Centre, Fenton Manor Sports Complex and New Horizons. The centres are principal sport, leisure and events venue in Stoke-on-Trent with over a million guests visit per year.
Wet recreation assistants are responsible for the health, safety and supervision of all pool users. When carrying out duties away from the poolside, the role carries is required to carry out duties such as cleaning, first aid and setting up equipment as advised by the recreational supervisors and duty manager.
Wet recreation assistants should be friendly, approachable and professional at all times as they are often the first point of contact for our guests and visitors.
The post also requires a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
The successful candidate will be required to complete an RLSS competency to work prior to taking up the post. This post will also include an element of cleaning and dry side duties, which are incorporated within the shift pattern.
The post is suitable for applicants seeking part time, casual work.
