  • Is able to lead and develop a creative approach to curriculum planning
  • Has a good knowledge of assessment in your key stage and is able to take a leading role in assessment practice and data analysis across school

All application forms should be returned directly to the school by post or by email.

Visits are strongly encouraged by arrangement with the school office.

Closing Date: Friday 1st July at 12:00pm

Shortlisting: Friday 1st July afternoon

Interviews and observations in school: Monday 4th July

Start Date: 1st September 2022 until June 2023

References will only be taken up for shortlisted candidates who will be notified beforehand. Please contact each of your named referees to inform them that, if you are shortlisted, we will request a reference prior to interview.

Please note that providing false information as part of your application may lead to a withdrawal of any conditional offer of employment, or disciplinary procedures potentially leading to dismissal without notice if you have already been appointed.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and responsibility. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

All staff working in the School during the school day will have contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
