Would you like the opportunity to be part of a successful and growing school family? Are you ready for the challenge of contributing to the development of an expanding school?  Could you help our pupils to “Flourish and achieve as unique creations of God?” Then read on…

The Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher to join our team.  This is an exciting time in our school’s development, as we continue to grow towards 1.5 FE, with 315 full-time pupils, as well as a governor run Nursery, following our expansion in 2017.  With both recently built and refurbished facilities, we are well equipped to deliver an exciting and engaging curriculum to our enthusiastic and hard-working children.  Hob Hill is unique as Staffordshire’s only combined Church of England and Methodist Primary School and offers a caring, community atmosphere.

The postholder will work in a job share in partnership with one of our established teachers.  Applications from recently qualified teachers and those with more experience are welcome.

We can offer:-

  • Happy, confident and friendly children with a real enthusiasm for learning and with a recognised high standard of behaviour.
  • A caring Christian atmosphere within our family orientated school, where each individual is valued.
  • A successful and popular school, judged to be Good by both Ofsted (September 2018) and SIAMS (October 2019).
  • A committed and talented staff team and supportive Governing Body.
  • Opportunities for further professional development.

Visits to the school are highly recommended.  Please contact our Bursar, Mrs Lisa Gallear (as above) to arrange a visit.  Application documents are available to download below.

Closing date: Thursday 30th June, 4.00 pm

Interviews:   Tuesday 5th July

Start Date:  Monday 5th September 2022

“This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment”.
