1:1 Teaching Assistant – required from September 2022

About the role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Federation of Emscote Infant School and All Saints’ CE Junior School, based at Emscote Infant School. The successful candidate will be able to establish positive relationships with all children, parents and members of staff.

This specific role is working one-to-one to support a child with complex needs who has an EHCP. The candidate will ideally have had experience of supporting complex needs in a mainstream classroom and possess the resilience and humour this role can require.

The role will be based initially at the infant school and will be a fixed-term contract to the end of summer term 2023, with the likelihood to extend subject to the successful completion of a 6 month probationary period.

The role is advertised on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week, term time including inset days.

Key Requirements

This is a post for a dedicated, resourceful and caring team player who will be an asset to our exceptional federation.

You will be required to support the child in accessing teaching and learning within and outside of the classroom. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining boundaries whilst also providing a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment.
