TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 – (Based at Wilmcote CE Primary School)

POSITION – 17.5 HOURS a week (mornings only), term time plus 5 Teacher Days (39 weeks total) plus 2 sessions per week as Midday Supervisor.

Fixed term initially for 12 months, with potential to extend

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work at Wilmcote CE Primary School. The post is for a Teaching Assistant to support English and Maths learning for children in our upper Key Stage 2 class. We have happy and keen learners and a great team of experienced and hard-working staff. Come and join us!

Key Skills:

  • Experience of working with children with a range of learning needs, and being able to tailor learning tasks and resources to enable all children to achieve.
  • Willingness to work in a team with other staff to develop excellent provision.
  • Able to understand how to use assessment to inform next steps.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to interact with children kindly, enthusiastically, creatively and flexibly to overcome barriers to learning.
