We need great people to help us on our transformational journey “#goodtogreat”, to ensure we can turn our Vision into reality.
We manage circa 25,000 homes for the City of Wolverhampton Council – and have a growing portfolio of services across the city. We’re passionate about what we do – and we care about our city’s future.
Do you want to make a difference to the lives of our residents? Will you share our passion to deliver excellence in our communities? Do you want to work for a progressive and innovative company that values its people? If so, then we want to hear from you.
The landscape for the management of fire safety is changing dramatically and to meet this significant challenge Wolverhampton Homes is looking to appoint a new Building Safety Manager.
In the past 12-18 months Wolverhampton Homes has enhanced its building safety capability and capacity and we now require the right individual to help us continue our journey.
We’re looking for a Building Safety Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the organisation remains compliant in accordance with the relevant fire and building safety legislation. You will need to be passionate about keeping our communities safe, and responsible for the fire engineering activities on refurbishment projects, having an oversight of the fire safety management regime.
The successful candidate will be required to assist in the development of the Building Safety Case reports by collaborating with colleagues from a range of teams, including asset management, design, and stock intelligence.
You will be responsible for leading a diverse team, delivering a range of building safety initiatives to ensure we are engaging with customers, putting their health and safety at the heart of everything we do.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the local community. If you know of any potential applicants who may be interested, please pass on these details.
For an informal discussion, please contact Simon Bamfield on 07717 732 984
