Quality Assurance Officer

Salary:  £27.041 - £31,346 per annum

37 Hours per week – Fixed Term until end of March 2023 / internal secondment until end of March 2023

About the role

The remit of the team is to gain assurance about the quality of care delivered by commissioned providers. This role will work with services across the Staffordshire adult care market. We also develop and manage adult care market intelligence systems. This will be a crucial role in driving improvements in the quality of the adult care market.

You will feed into the overall assessment of risk for a care service. This is done by completing visits to services and identifying areas for improvement. Report writing skills are a necessity for this role to capture your findings. You will then work with a service to deliver the required improvements through various support mechanisms and a series of follow up visits.

The position will have a combination of on-site visits at care services and office work, which will require travel across the county.

What you’ll bring

We are seeking dynamic and solution focussed officer with a passion for improving quality of care.  This job requires people with resilience and ability to negotiate or effect positive change. Travel across the county is a necessity of this role.

This Authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
