Cannock Chase Council are looking for an enthusiastic individual to lead and improve in our fast moving Income Team.  The Income Management Team provides a customer focused service within the local community, collecting debts owed by the Coucil’s  customers, whilst assisting them to sustain their tenancies and leases. The Income Management & Customer Contact Team Leader will assist in the delivery of high quality, resilient and flexible income services functions. We are looking for someone who is proactive, target driven and customer orientated.

 

Candidates must have significant experience of working in a social housing environment or related field, with sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to social housing and income collection, Welfare Reform and Universal Credit. You will have excellent attention to detail, being able deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities is important. Ideally the successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 4 or HNC in Housing studies or be currently studying for a qualification.

 

The Tenancy Services Team is a compact, highly motivated team and the candidate will also be an integral part of delivering key aspects of the overall Housing Services Improvement Plan working closely with Team leaders within the Neighbourhood Management, Sheltered Housing & Allocations sections to provide a high quality professional service to customers.
