Wednesfield High Academy is situated in the north-east area of Wolverhampton. There are approximately 1,000 students attending the academy which includes 150 at sixth form. This is an extremely exciting time to join us on a journey to becoming an outstanding Academy.

We are seeking to appoint a talented, energetic and inspiring teacher of Mathematics (Maternity Cover - September 2022 - December 2023)
The successful candidate will have a proven track record for raising both attainment and achievement in Maths. They will be able to inspire colleagues and students and offer fresh ideas, as well as being resourceful and keen to achieve the highest possible standards for our young people.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a secure understanding about how disadvantaged students in Maths and beyond, can make significant progress.
The Commerce department at Wednesfield Academy is highly ambitious, recruiting well at Post-16. The post would be ideal for anyone with ambition, drive and passion who wants to work with a committed team of professional staff. The Academy is committed to high quality professional development, supporting staff to take the next steps in their professional career.
A relevant degree.
Must be willing to teach Mathematics at key stage 3, 4 and 5.
Experience of strategies / interventions to assist disadvantaged students to make good progress
Passion for Maths and enjoy working with young people

Ability to prioritise time effectively Self-confidence and presence
