Job Details
Dudley Lighthouse Links (DLL) is the Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service that supports children and young people who are in the care of the Local Authority. We are looking for a nurturing, child focused and driven Therapeutic Social Worker to join the team.
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: Grade 10
You will work systemically to provide appropriate evidence-based interventions using a range of therapeutic approaches to best meet the identified needs of children and young people. You will provide consultation and advise to social workers, parents, foster carers, SGO carers and residential care staff and support the development of the DDL Practice.
You must have knowledge of Social Work intervention and therapeutic approaches, understanding child protection and safeguarding procedures and other key legislation underpinning your work, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of equality and diversity.
As the successful candidate you will join a friendly & dynamic team and be involved in shaping the future of the team in light of the recent challenges and changes that have had to be made to support all children and young people through tough times.
