We are looking to recruit a Senior Science Technician to work within a high-quality and well-resourced environment.
Responsibilities will include setting up equipment and resources for practical lessons, preparation, maintenance and storage of all apparatus, and materials. You may also be called upon to engage and support classroom activities with students.

 

The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm and skills to inspire students in science and the ability to form excellent professional relationships. Good standard of numeracy, literacy and communication skills are essential for this role as is a well-developed attention to detail. We welcome applications from those returning to the workforce or those looking for their initial employment opportunity.

 

37 hours per week term time plus 5 days staff learning days; 39 weeks per annum.

Starting salary for a full-time post at Band G is within the range £23,015 to £25,917 per annum, starting point depending on experience and qualifications.

Actual salary based on hours and weeks worked is calculated at £19,850 to £22,353 per annum and subject to any continuous service.
