Fixed Term: January 2024
(an extension is possible dependent upon the continuation of a variety of externally funded projects)

Salary: G8 £30,984 - £35,336, per annum

We have a great opportunity for a driven individual to join the Black Country Impact Walsall Programme Management Team.

We are looking for an experienced Finance and Monitoring Officer to support the financial operations of the project. The successful candidate will coordinate the financial claim evidence in accordance to ESF funding guidance, monitor the compliance of financial expenditure and oversee the projects financial monitoring and reporting mechanisms.

You will need to:

  • Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and the financial planning processes.
  • Comply monthly financial claims to be submitted to the Lead Accountable Body.
  • Have experience of financial systems such as, Oracle.
  • Produce high quality financial reports.
  • Present monitoring reports and de-brief stakeholders.
  • Have an understanding of ESF financial protocol and procedures.
  • Be able to present complex financial information to a diverse audience.
  • Have degree/HND or an equivalent financial related NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience
