Teacher of Girls’ PE (0.5, Main TPS) / Cover supervisor (0.5, NJC Pay Spine according to experience) Combined Role.

Temporary post for 1 term in the first instance (with a possibility of extending depending on the school’s requirements)

The Governors of The Chantry School are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, dynamic, committed and high quality colleague to contribute to providing an excellent experience for girls in PE.  The Chantry School is based in rural West Worcestershire, but within easy reach of Worcester. We are a high achieving, over-subscribed academy of 842 pupils, rated outstanding by Ofsted. Our pupils are keen to learn and respond extremely well to high quality teaching. We are currently expanding our intake and in September 2022 we will become a school of 875.  

Teacher of Girls’ PE and Cover Supervisor – combined role: to provide high quality teaching and so enable effective use of resources and high standards of learning, progress and achievement for pupils.  To work under the guidance of teaching staff and within an agreed system of supervision

The successful candidate will be required to work across the full age and ability range.  It is anticipated that the successful candidate’s time will be equally distributed between teaching and covering lessons in other subjects in the school.
