EYFS Teaching Assistant – Nursery -
30 hours per week - Term Time Only (39 weeks)
Permanent Position
Grade 5 Scale Point: 6 – 9 £20,043 - £21,269 (Pro Rata approximately: £15,970 – £16,947)
Required for the beginning of the Autumn Term 2022
About the role:
Our Governing Body is wishing to employ an EYFS Teaching Assistant to be located initially within our Nursery, but who is able to work across the EYFS phase if needed.
We are seeking an individual who is energetic, enthusiastic and passionate with a positive work ethic who wishes to bring out the very best in our youngest pupils
The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the
Early Years Foundation Stage and one who has experience within a similar setting.
You will be responsible for supporting with the planning and managing
the day-to-day provision with the school Nursery working closely
with the Early Years Lead Practitioner and Early Years Lead Teacher; providing a high quality, stimulating learning environment; communicating regularly with parents; ensuring the highest standards of safety and wellbeing.
You will be, or will have the potential to be, an outstanding practitioner with the ability to inspire, motivate and achieve significant impact. You will be passionate about the need to enable our youngest pupils to make progress within their learning and development.
We are seeking candidates who:
- Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or above qualification Have recent and relevant experience within the EYFS phase Are highly motivated and enthusiastic about pupil’s learning Able to contribute to and work collaboratively as part of a team Able to inspire others and lead by example Able to demonstrate commitment to raising standards of teaching, learning and achievement Friendly, approachable and flexible Organised and have good interpersonal and communication skills
