Job title: Records Centre Technical Support Officer

Location: Unit QB, Beacon Business Park, Stafford. ST18 0WL

Salary:  £20,043- £21,269 per annum (pro rata)

Contract type: 18.5 Hours per week |  Part time –we’re happy to talk flexible working, this post is a job share (2 posts sharing 37hrs- 18.5 hours each)

Working patten: Wednesday PM, Thursday, Friday

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Records Centre, part of the Information Governance Unit within Staffordshire County Council. The role will be Supporting the Record Centre Officer in the management of the Record Management System by being the Super User, training of staff and liaising with the system provider to investigate and resolve system / user issues including development & changes to the system. To Support the Record Centre Officer with the development of processes and procedures within the Record Centre to ensure an efficient and effective service. 

What you’ll bring

The Ideal candidate will bring:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience of working in a Record Centre, logistics, or similar manual handling environment.
  • Competent administrative Microsoft Office and organisational skills.
  • An attention to detail, as well as the ability to work quickly whilst maintaining accuracy.
  • Organised and methodical approach to work.
  • To be able to organise the work of others.
  • Ability to utilise electronic record systems.
  • The ability to work well in a small team or independently.
