Job Title                     Finance Assistant

Employment Status: Permanent

Working Hours:        37 hours per week, all year round

Actual Salary:             Support Staff Grade 4 (scale points 6-14 £20,043-£23,484)

Required:                   ASAP

Location:                    Hearsall Community Academy, Coventry. The postholder may be required to work in other Trust premises in Coventry and Nuneaton

 

About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen within Inspire Education Trust in the Finance Central Team. The trust is looking to recruit a full time Finance Administrator on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be based at Hearsall Community Academy CV5 6LR, working under the direction of the Finance and Compliance Manager.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a good standard of education - minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
  • Substantial experience of working in a financial administration role
  • Experience of establishing and maintaining effective cross functional working relationships
  • Working knowledge of MS office suite eg Excel and computerised finance systems
  • Has a driving licence and use of own car

 

All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
