Teacher of Design & Technology: Resistant Materials, 3D design and/or Engineering (MPS/UPR)

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, inspiring and enthusiastic professional to join our existing team of teachers delivering technology at an exciting time in the school’s history.   The successful candidate will be committed to the development of innovative and engaging teaching and learning which will instil a passion for learning and result in the achievement of excellent outcomes.  The ability to teach a range of technology disciplines or a related second subject would be desirable.

The school has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, most recently in January 2018:

Blue Coat Church of England Academy is one of the oldest educational establishments in Walsall, is well-respected and valued by the community it serves.  We operate on a very collaborative approach to school improvement working with a range of other schools and nationally recognised trainers.  The school is very proud of the family ethos which pervades all aspects of its work, which is grounded in Christian values.  We offer an extensive and innovative staff development programme, including an excellent support programme for newly and recently qualified teachers.
