The position may include 1-1 work with children with additional needs and general classroom support. Water Mill Primary School is a small, one form entry, community school. We are currently recruiting a temporary Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support either a KS1 or KS2 class.
You will be required to have:
- a relevant qualification with good English and Maths skills
- KS1/2 experience
- high motivation to ensure that all children achieve their full potential
- good behaviour management skills
- be adaptable to your environment
- the ability to use your own initiative
- good communication skills
- experience of teaching phonics
- experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs
- a good understanding of the National Curriculum
- a friendly and caring personality
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
