Receptionist/First Aider
22.5Hrs per week (3 days Monday, Tuesday and Thursday)
Term time only
Fixed term contract for one year with the possibility of a full time permanent position after one year
Grade 4 £19,650-£20,043 pro rata
The governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, reliable and experienced school first aider/receptionist with excellent customer services skills, emotional intelligence and ability to use their own initiative to join our team at Glenthorne.
Experience using Arbor (Schools Management Information System), Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is advantageous but training can be given to the right candidate. Essential skills include: IT skills, flexibility, organisation and the ability to prioritise.
As the role will include working alongside staff, pupils, parents, the community and other agencies and services we require a high level of communication skills and professionalism. The successful candidate will also be responsible for administration tasks which will include but not exclusive of; updating the school website, writing letters, operating Arbor , checking emails, answering the phone, ensuring all medical records for pupils are up to date, administer any first aid and assisting Governors as and when required. An understanding of the needs of a Primary School and its pupils is essential.

This position is subject to a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formally CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application form.
