The Early Help Service is recruiting for a Reducing Parental Conflict (RPC) Lead Champion, to influence, design, lead and develop the Reducing Parental Conflict agenda.

Since 2019 the Early Help Service has been part of the Government funded Reducing Parental Conflict (RPC) agenda that launched in 2018, leading on a Black Country wide training initiative for our neighbouring Local Authority partners from 2021 to 2022.

We are now in an existing position where we are able to offer a new and dedicated role to support the development of RPC practice within Early Help and the wider Early Help Partnership.

You will work closely with the RPC Lead, Early Help Locality Managers, Early Help Steering Group Members and RPC champions across a range of services to deliver RPC training, practice support, project plans, development and support interventions to ensure that relationship enquiry and support is becoming embedded into service practice.

You will need:

  • Excellent knowledge, skilled and experienced in delivery of services and interventions to support parents who are in relationship distress.
  • Experience of delivering training and practice support to professionals in relationship enquiry work and or specific RPC work.
  • Extensive knowledge of the RPC agenda, research and national position on RPC with experience of project work in this area.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to converse with a wide range of professionals and partners
  • Excellent partnership working skills and the ability to shape and influence change.
