School Mini bus Driver

Impact Independent School are looking for a conscientious, hardworking, and reliable person to drive our school minibus on a split shift basis.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with young people and must have a full clean driving licence which holds a category D1.

 Experience of driving a minibus is essential.

The role involves collecting students from various locations and ensuring their safe arrival at the school, before returning them to their initial collection point at the end of the school day, there may be some travel between school sites as we have dual sites.

The safety and safeguarding of students is paramount to this role.

You will be required to carry out safety checks on the minibus prior to collection and to drive in a safe manner at all times, to carry out basic administration, clean and refuel the minibus when required. As part of this role you will also be required to drop off the vehicle for any repairs etc..

Impact Independent School offers an alternative educational provision to pupils with emotional, social and behavioural needs. The successful candidate will require a clear enhanced DBS check and be cleared to work with children.

Job Type: Part-time 21hrs 30 minutes per week, Term time working only for 39 weeks, Salary: £9.50 per hour.
