Sandwell Children's Trust are currently recruiting for a full-time Service Support Assistant to join the busy Mini Admin Team.

 

Fixed Term for 12 months

Hours - 37 per week

This role is office based 5 days a week

The role is to support front line Social Workers and Managers with all aspects of administration.  The role includes reception duties, greeting visitors face to face, call handling and message taking, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, managing a shared inbox and dealing with requests from Social Workers for printing and other general requests.

You will be responsible for setting up and issuing IT equipment and supporting new employees with the use of equipment and using the in-house Childrens system to obtain information, and uploading documents to Childrens records.

 

What you need to be successful in this role:

 

• Will hold NVQ Level 1 in Business Administration or equivalent;

• Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a business admin role;

• You need to be IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office packages;

• Have good communication and telephone skills,

• Have good organisational skills and ability to prioritise your own workload.

• You must also be able to work independently and work well as part of a team.

A standard DBS check will be required for this role.
