Sports Coach/Learning Mentor, Fixed Term Contract for 12 months, St Pauls CofE Academy

The Governing Board of St. Paul’s Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Sports Coach/Learning Mentor to join our team in September 2022 (subject to satisfactory clearance checks).

We are looking for a Sports Coach/Learning Mentor with experience of the PE curriculum who is able to support our children in their social and emotional development.  

You will:

• Have the passion to enthuse and motivate our children to love learning
• Be able to use highly effective skills to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
• Be able to work flexibly, share and communicate well as part of a team
• Be able to contribute to our strong Christian Ethos.
• Have experience of delivering sport coaching sessions to young people aged between 5 and 11 in a school environment
• Have a knowledge of the PE National Curriculum and the ability to deliver the curriculum through sport

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role

Grade:  Unqualified Teachers Pay Scale 1-6 (£18,419 - £28,735) 

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st July 2023 due to funding
