Salary:  £32,798 - £37, 568  Grade 9 + Car Allowance.

Our roles

 

Social Worker – Children in Care and Care Leavers – Tamworth FTE

 

As a social worker for children in care you’ll be looking after and supporting those children who have been taken into care and supporting them to prepare them Leaving Care working alongside Personal Advisors with 16 plus young people. 

 

You will be involved in assessment for reunification, discharge of Care Orders and SGOs, promotion of family time, working alongside and with the ‘team around the child/YP’.

 

 

 

What you’ll bring

 

You’ll need to be a:

 

- Qualified Social Worker or near completion of your SW Qualification

 

- Registered with Social Work England or close to registration due to being close to Qualification

 

- Have a current UK driving licence and vehicle

 

But above all, you’ll bring the desire to work with children and families to give them the right support, at the right time with the aim of keeping families together where it’s safe to do so.
