About Us:

Beaconside is a successful one-form entry primary (Reception – Year 6) and nursery school with a mainstream autism base.

We are a Worcestershire maintained school, based on the Birmingham/Worcestershire border. We are 5 minutes from Junction 3 – M5, 20 minutes from Redditch, 25 minutes from Worcester City Centre and 30 minutes from Birmingham City Centre. We are an OfSTED ‘good’ rated school.

‘Pupils are polite and courteous. They are well behaved in lessons and when moving around the school. Classrooms are calm, orderly places where pupils learn well. Pupils listen attentively and are motivated to learn. Leaders ensure pupils’ behaviour is managed consistently and fairly across the school. Parents and carers are overwhelmingly positive about the school. Leaders have planned an ambitious curriculum for pupils. It is adapted to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).’ (OfSTED Nov’ 2021)
