Salary: £10.91 - £11.40 (which includes + 14.49% enhancement for zero hours)

Worcestershire County Council are currently looking for Relief Passenger Assistants for Adults and Children. Most of the cover is needed Monday to Friday, over a split shift, which is normally between 7am-9.15am and then 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
What the position of Relief Passenger Assistant involves:
You will need to physically assist Children or Adults as necessary to and from the vehicle and help them on and off the minibus by means of step or the vehicle lift according to level of need.
Candidates require the ability to undertake moderate physical activity sometimes in a confined space
You will need to be a team player working closely with the driver transporting pupils, ensuring their comfort and safety.
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, flexible individuals who are calm under pressure with good communication and people skills.
You will need to have the means to get to the various contract starting points.
A full package of training will be provided to support you in the role should you be successful candidate.
Relief Passenger Assistants cover for Contacted Passenger Assistant sickness, holidays and busy periods
Due to the nature of the work a criminal record check via the DBS disclosure service will be obtained during the recruitment process.
