Allens Croft Primary School is a diverse, fully inclusive two-form entry school, with a Cognition and Learning Resource Base set in extensive grounds in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham. Our latest OFSTED inspection (January, 2019) continues to be graded as good across all areas. We are looking to appoint a qualified teacher, with DSL status, to cover in our Pastoral Team
We are looking to appoint someone who:
• is a qualified DSL (or is willing to undertake the qualification) and has up to date knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Policy and Procedures
• has knowledge and understanding of national safeguarding legislation
• has previous experience working with vulnerable children
• has previous experience of multi-agency working
• has recent successful teaching experience in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
• builds positive relationships and a role model for the children they teach
• is able to work closely with, and values the contribution of parents and the community
• supports the aspirational ethos of the school
• has high expectations of pupils and themselves
• a team player
• has the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload.
