An exciting opportunity has become available at our state of the art school. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and experienced Design and Technology Technician.

Our ethos of ‘Ensuring Excellence’ is at the forefront of everything that we do. The successful candidate will lead by example and will assist with the smooth running of the department by providing assistance with preparation of materials and equipment for lessons, mounting and displaying work, maintenance of relevant equipment and stock control.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to relate well to people on all levels
  • Work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
  • Ability to identify own and others’ training & development needs and co-operate with appropriate individuals to address these
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults
  •  Ability to interpret advice/statute and to devise policy/practice in the light of these
  • Good organisation and personal management skills
