Starting salary FTE £18,886 (Actual £16,245)
37 hours per week, term time plus 5 days
St John Fisher Catholic College is part of Christ The King Catholic Collegiate, and we are seeking to appoint a Science Technician to our
team. This role will involve working under the guidance of senior staff; managing the provision of technical support to the science
department, including the preparation of materials to exact specification from stock as directed, and clearing away equipment.
The successful candidate will provide assistance to teaching staff with demonstration lessons and practicals, therefore a friendly yet
professional and respectful approach is essential, as is the need to be committed to the needs of pupils, parents and other stakeholders
to provide an efficient service.
This is a temporary post for one year, with a view to becoming permanent upon successful performance review.
