REQUIRED: Play Leader – Grade 5
POST STATUS: Permanent
WEEKLY HOURS: 7.5 (Hours to be 7.30am – 9.00am)
SALARY: £20043 (actual salary £3512 pro-rata to term-time) pay award pending
PAY WEEKS: Term Time Only
START DATE: Monday 5th September 2022

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Play Leader to join our hardworking team in ensuring the safety, welfare and enjoyment of our children within our before school provision, Hilltops.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of supporting children in schools in a similar educational role
- Who can provide support to pupils in all matters of personal and structural need
- Encourages and contributes to creating a positive and creative learning environment
- Is educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in numeracy and literacy skills
- A Teaching Assistants NVQ Level 2 qualification, or equivalent, would be desirable with a willingness to take part in training
- Has good communication and organisational skills
- Has experience of supporting the school community
