The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing six secondary schools, 13 primary schools, a Teaching School Hub, and School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield, North Warwickshire and Coventry.
Year Leader - Two Positions Available
Full Time, Permanent, Term time only
Required for September 2022
A vacancy for two Year Leaders has arisen due to the growth of our Multi Academy Trust
The role involves supporting the Leadership team in delivering, improving, monitoring and evaluating pastoral strategies taking responsibility for a year group of students.
The successful applicant will:
• provide effective student support for approximately 220 students in a year group within a phase
• track student progress and achievement
• monitor and manage attendance and behaviour
• communicate with parents / carers
• liaise with teachers and tutors
• mentor students both individually and within groups
• be responsible for rewards and sanctions within the year
• be a high profile leader within the school
• lead on an additional area of whole school responsibility suited to your experience
• support the Attendance Manager in raising attendance for an individual year group
• act as a first aider on a rota basis
• become trained as a Designated Safeguarding Lead for ensuring high standards of safeguarding across the school
Salary: £27514 - £ 30095 Full Time Equivalent (actual salary £23982 - £26232
per annum)
Location: The Coleshill School, Coventry Road, Birmingham, B46 3EX
Hours: 37 (term time only)
Start Date: September 2022
