Vacancy- Attendance Officer from September 2022 

Full-time term time only This is a permanent position 

At Pennyhill we are always looking for ways to continue to develop and provide better outcomes for our children and families. 

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Attendance Officer to improve whole school attendance outcomes and reduce persistent absenteeism. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous experience in an education or social care setting to work with pupils and families to overcome and respond to attendance concerns and ultimately, improve learning outcomes. In addition to working closely with staff to analyse data and develop systems to improve attendance, you will conduct regular home visits, therefore a full driving licence is desirable. 

Working hours will be Monday to Thursday 8:15 to 4:15; Friday 8:15 to 3:45 Candidates must possess a good understanding of the issues that impact pupils’ attendance combined with effective interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate both empathy and assertiveness when required.
