Level 2 Teaching Assistant (mornings) and Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (afternoons) (Ref: SBMAT82) – Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy (part of St Bartholomew’s CE MAT)

 

Whilst this could be one full-time role, applications will be accepted for Level 2 TAs able to work mornings and HLTAs able to work afternoons.

 

The Directors of St Bartholomew’s CE MAT are seeking to employ a Level 2 TA (mornings) and HLTA (afternoons).

 

 

 

Morning role: you will be responsible for supporting the children both in and out of the classroom, as directed by the class teacher.

 

You will do this by:

 

• Supporting individuals and groups of children within lessons. Carrying out interventions with individuals and groups of children both in and out of the classroom. Delivering necessary support to children with additional needs such as speech and language therapy.

 

 

Afternoon role: As HLTA, You will be responsible for working with a variety of year groups providing PPA cover, in line with the job description and person specification for this role.

 

You will do this by:

• Organising and managing appropriate learning environments and resources. Working alongside class teachers to plan and prepare for and deliver lessons to a range of year groups. Marking work from lessons in line with the school feedback and marking policy. Working within the parameters of the school’s policies on Safeguarding, Health & Safety and Positive Behaviour Management.

 

 

This position is term-time only from 1^st September 2022 until 31^st August 2023. The actual salary is available on request as this will be dependent on previous experience.

 

 

 

The hours of work are:

 

Monday: 8:45 am to 12:15 pm (L2 TA) 1:00 to 4:00 pm (HLTA)

 

Tuesday: 8:45 am to 12:15 pm (L2 TA); 1:00 to 4:00 pm (HLTA)

 

Wednesday: 8:45 am to 12:15 pm (L2 TA); 1:00 to 4:00 pm (HLTA)

 

Thursday: 8:45 am to 12:15 pm (L2 TA) 1:00 to 4:00 pm (HLTA)

 

Friday: 8:45 am to 12:15 pm (L2 TA); 1:00 to 4:00 pm (HLTA)
