35  hours per week – Potential for hours to be negotiable

Start date:  1st September 2022

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to meet the needs of learners, who are at risk of exclusion or have been excluded from mainstream education. It is essential the candidate has the ability to work with small groups on targeted interventions, to administer assessments and work alongside the teacher to support learners in the unit.

 

A teaching assistant qualification

  • Experience working successfully with children with social, emotional and mental health needs The ability to engage and enthuse children’s learning Experience of planning and  delivering  lessons  to small groups   High expectations of children’s learning and behaviour The ability to work as part of a team  A good sense of humour and a calm, caring approach
