BUSINESS SUPPORT ASSISTANT

 

Salary:  £18,887 – £19,264 per annum - Grade 3 (pro-rota)

 

1 x 22 hours a week permanent position – to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

This role will provide business support to the Foster Panel team in central Stafford.

 

Tasks will include:

 

  • In support of Social Workers statutory workload, convene and attend meetings including statutory multi agency meetings, coordinating the circulation of agendas and relevant papers, taking, and distributing appropriate notes, minutes and actions. Produce a range of high-quality documents. To provide support advice and guidance to district-based practitioners in the use of IT and related software

 

 

GCSE English or equivalent and an ICT qualification are essential for this position.

 

An NVQ in Business Administration, two years office experience and experience of using a computer-based information system are also desirable as well as experience of minute taking and experience of working within a team.

 

Good written and oral communication skills, an ability to undertake a number of areas of work, an ability to interpret, format and accurately present information, time management skills and experience of working to deadlines are also all desirable.
