Job title: Business Support Officer

 

Location: Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford.ST16 2DH.

 

Salary:  £20,043 - £21,269 per annum (pro-rata)

 

Contract type: 21 Hours per week Part time – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

About the role

 

Business and Executive Support is a central business support function which is aligned to meet the requirements of Staffordshire County Council, and which fulfils the needs of the organisation as it evolves.

 

This postholder would provide administrative support to Senior Officers within the team as directed ie. managing of calendars, arranging meetings, making appointments and dealing with telephone enquiries, as appropriate.  This role also requires experience in servicing various formal meetings, including organising venues, issuing invites and minute taking, the production of accurate records and the distribution of reports within agreed timescales.

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • A flexible and adaptive approach able to perform using your own initiative both independently and as a team player. A knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Reliable and able to work accurately with good attention to detail. Ability to take and transcribe minutes to a high level of accuracy.
