13.5 Hours p/week

We have a vacancy at St Modwen’s Catholic Primary School. If you are looking for something that fits in around a school run, or if you just want a couple of days a week, we are keen to hear from you.

We have a Maternity cover position looking for you to be available to start at the beginning of Autumn Term 2022 (1.9.2022). Your contracted hours will be 13.5 Hours p.week over 5 working days. Key duties of our school Kitchen Assistant are:
• Basic food prep
• Setting up tables and chairs
• Serving students and teachers
• Clearing tables
• Using a dishwasher
• Sweeping and Mopping
• Labelling food

As part of the application for this School Kitchen role you'll need an enhanced DBS, Food Hygiene certificate and undergo an online Allergen assessment, which we can assist with.

Applicants must have experience of working in a busy and efficient school office or catering kitchen coupled with strong communication skills and be a natural organiser with strong attention to detail. The ability to work methodically and as part of a team are a must. The successful applicant will need to have a calm and flexible attitude to work as well as being highly organised and able to effectively prioritise workloads.
