Producing new local plans including reviewing the Green Belt, Town and District Centre regeneration and addressing housing and employment needs are some of the challenges which now face the Councils. We are looking for planners who are keen to play a key role in meeting these challenges in a busy planning office.

The successful candidates will be appointed to a senior planning officer role. The role offers a great opportunity to get involved in a wide range of strategic planning work across both authorities.

Good communication skills are essential, and you will need to show initiative and be able to liaise with a variety of stakeholders in the plan making process.
