Learning Inclusion Assistants

We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and innovative person, with an interest in, or experience of working with pupils with Special Needs to support children with an EHCP or in the EHCP process.
The post will involve working one to one with a child with special educational needs as well as working with a group.

The successful candidate will need to:
Be proactive, patient and nurturing and provide a strong, positive role-model
Secure high rates of progress through lively and engaging learning
Have a passion for ensuring every child reaches their full potential
Understand the Primary Curriculum
Understand the safeguarding and welfare requirements for primary age children
Develop the children’s understanding of, and commitment to, the learning process
Contribute towards a safe, purposeful and rich environment to optimise learning
Contribute to the learning culture of the school
Communicate well with children, staff and parents
Contribute to and use on-going assessments to measure progress and adapt teaching and learning
Have the commitment to work closely with all members of the school community
