Sixth Form Teaching Assistant - Level 2 (Future Ready)

Band F, scp 7-10 (F:7 £20,444 to F:10 £22,129 full-time salary) to work

32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year (term-time only, plus teacher training days).  Actual starting salary is £15,311

Fixed Term from 1 September 2022 to 31 July 2023 (in the first instance) OR permanent contract for candidate with suitable experience/qualifications             

We require a Teaching Assistant - Level 2 to work within the Sixth Form’s study facility, with a specific group of pupils to ensure they are prepared for their future destination and to monitor and assist pupils with their academic studies through the delivery of functional Maths and English. 

We are looking for an energetic, organised and proactive colleague who possesses a positive attitude and wants to work with pupils who have specific educational needs. A good level of literacy and numeracy skills is required and previous experience in a similar working environment would be an advantage.
