Entrust is a partnership between Capita and Staffordshire County Council whereby we work together to provide support services to schools and Multi Academy Trusts across the county. We currently have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner to join our team as an Early Years Quality Support Consultant.

Within this role you will provide support, training and guidance to schools and other Early Years settings around themes such as safeguarding, curriculum, leadership and management and business development. Supporting their staff and management teams you will enable them to deliver services across the county that adhere to all regulations whilst at the same time providing a fun and educational learning environment.

This role is a 1 year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension with significant travel across the county visiting client sites.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of EYFS statutory requirements in a variety of contexts and providing concise feedback both orally and written

  • Providing advice, training, support and challenge to a range of audiences

  • Critically analysing a range of evidence to identify key priorities for the setting

  • Promote excellence through the identification of best practice and brokerage of continuous professional development

  • Planning and delivering consultancy to settings supporting them to achieve at least a good Ofsted outcome

  • Supporting the market development and sufficiency of childcare across the county

  • Preparing and delivering training/consultancy to a range of audiences

  • Participating in a range of relevant continuing professional development to support and enhance the service.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven track record in an Early Years setting

  • Extensive knowledge of government and local authority guidelines in the area of Early Years provision

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to train stakeholders at all levels and impart knowledge and ideas effectively

  • Must have drivers license and access to a car as there is extensive travel across the county.
