37 Hours Per Week (Term Time plus 2 weeks)

We are looking to appoint a competent and dedicated School Office Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team.
As School Office Manager you will hold a key post of responsibility within the school. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, you will be responsible for ensuring non-teaching aspects of the school run efficiently and effectively. You will also have line-management responsibility for the administration and site staff.
Your core responsibilities will be:
- to lead, with the Headteacher, on finance, human resources, health & safety, premises management, whole-school administration, and marketing
- the promotion of the school aims, objectives and ethos
- assisting in the monitoring and evaluation of performance and processes
- ensuring specific day-to-day functions of the school run smoothly
- establishing good working relationships with all stakeholders and external agencies
You should have:
- sound experience of financial management and budgetary planning and control
- experience of human resources management
- an excellent working knowledge of ICT systems; including FMS and preferably a knowledge of SIMS software
This role is integral to our school and you will need to have experience in a similar role and, ideally, have attained a School Business Management or accountancy qualification.
The role requires you to be a highly organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in making a difference to the school’s outcomes. You should be able to use your initiative, have a relentless drive for excellence, work flexibly, with integrity and under pressure. Attention to detail and being process driven will be essential to being successful in this role.
